Bethel Baptist Church of Deer Park was organized on July 11, 1976. The purpose of Bethel is to worship God, to disciple the saints, to evangelize the lost, to fellowship with the family of God, and to minister to persons in the body of believers, our community, and the world.

Pastor

The Pastor is responsible for leading the church to function as a New Testament Church. The Pastor is the spiritual leader of the church and will guide the congregation, organizations, committees and staff to accomplish the mission and objectives of the church.

Some of the duties of the Pastor are:

• Proclaim the truth of God’s Word to the church.

• Equip and edify believers for their daily walk and service to the Lord.

• Maintain a regular program of study to support planning and conducting meaningful worship services.

• To shepherd and feed the flock over which the Holy Spirit has made him the overseer.

• Guide and assist the church staff, as needed.
